Come spend the summer in the Sierra Nevada, as together we will encounter the Lord, expose the Lake Tahoe area to Jesus Christ, experience Christ-centered community, and expand our vision for the campus and the world.
The 2008 Lake Tahoe Summer Project is open to both quarter and semester school students.
Cost for students is $2800. Unique to Lake Tahoe Summer Project, this amount includes dinner six nights a week.
The project will be comprised of approximately 100 students from around the country, as well as 25 staff, predominantly from the Greater Northwest.
Project housing is located just west of the city of South Lake Tahoe, CA (elevation 6260), within a short walk of the shores of Lake Tahoe. All students are required to have a full-time job during project (30+ hours a week). Due to long-standing relations with South Lake Tahoe businesses, most students are hired at our on-site job fair the first week of project.
Come join us in Anchorage, Alaska! Experience a traditional summer project focused on developing men. Expect to walk by faith, communicate your faith, receive ministry training, and learn some principles that will help you walk with God for a lifetime and participate in His mission for a lifetime. By the way, the setting and rugged beauty will take your breath away.

It is so exciting that you are at this site to hear more about the Merida, Venezuela Summer Project. Merida is a city in Venezuela that attracts people from all over the world. It is a beautiful place and one of the country's tourist attractions for recreation. If you join us on this project, you will see for yourself why people choose to visit this place as a tourist, but even more importantly you will experience the privilege of being used by God to bring the message of Christ to the Venezuelan college students that live there. Spiritually, the ground is very soft in Venezuela. God is mightily at work to draw Venezuelans into a relationship with Himself. If what has been happening spiritually in this country continues, most likely many students who join us this summer will get the opportunity to see someone trust Christ. If you know Spanish, you will get to put it into practice almost everywhere you go and use it for the glory of God as He uses you to share the Gospel in the Spanish language. If you do not know Spanish--no worries--you are likely to learn quite a bit as you take a step of faith to join us on this project. A typical week on this project will include time growing in the Word together, sharing our faith a lot with Venezuelan college students, spending time planning events and meetings with the students we meet there, mens and womens times as a project team, and even some time exploring the culture and city in which we live. This is a great opportunity to connect with students from around the nation and around the world as we converge together on Moscow to share Christ with the Russian people. We will be doing lots of evangelism and follow-up with Russian students, as well as investing in each others lives. There is no greater faith stretching adventure than sharing Christ on foreign soil. You will return to your campus prepared to launch spiritual movements and strengthen your foundation for a lifetime of walking with the Lord. Imagine spending five weeks with 14 other college students, mixing itup with Croatian university students on campus, in cafes and coffeeshops. Plan on building relationships with students you meet throughoutthe summer while at the same time looking for opportunities to shareChrist with them. Croatian students are relationally deep and are veryopen to talking about spiritual things. Your experience in Croatia willchange your life and your view of the world!
Come join us for a summer that will rock your face off! Our focus is to bring the gospel to Italians at the University of Siena, because most have never heard it before. Located in Tuscany, Siena is beautiful, but very spiritually dark. We need you! The days will be filled with ministry development, your own personal growth in your relationship with the Lord, worshiping the Lord, and taking steps of faith where ever you are at on your spiritual journey. The evenings are filled with coffee and food with the locals while getting into spiritual conversations. And of course traveling and expereiencing an amazing culture and beauty of God's creation! Come meet with the Lord in Siena Italy.

The University of Costa Rica is the most influential university in Central America. This is the third summer of our partnership in Costa Rica, and we are excited to see God continue to launch a movement.
We want to invite you to be part of the 2008 Costa Rica Summer Project. God has great plans for you because you are of great value to Him. Our King loves you and wants to do huge things in your life as you put your summer in his hands and follow him into the mission field.
Our vision for the summer is to grow in intimacy with Christ and one another. Filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we will step out in faith and give Costa Rican students the opportunity to hear the Gospel. By doing this we are trusting that God will transform the death-filled valley of San Jose into a place of great life. Even though we are calling this the Sydney Summer Project we will actually be located in Newcastle, just 2 hours north of Sydney. The staff in Australia have identified Newcastle as the next strategic campus to launch. So in a spirit of serving the Australian ministry, our objective this summer is to share the gospel with students at Newcastle University and look for people of peace to help us launch new movements of evangelism and discipleship.
If the thought of doing lot's of evangelism freaks you out, that's ok. We'll spend time equipping you and you won't be alone, you'll have help from your team. Project participants will be able to take the training and experience directly back to their campuses in the US. Join us down under as we reach out to Australian students and help to establish campus ministries.
Our Tokyo CityFocus is on hold for this year and so the project hasbeen redirected to Osaka. There are hunderds of campuses there too andvery few laborers... Please pray for laborers for the harvest.
For the next three years, we as the US campus ministry, are lockingarms with our Japanese brothers and sisters in Christ to help reach the1.1 million students on 170 campuses in the greater Tokyo area. Thecost for the project will be about $4500 plus domestic flights. We arepraying for a "breakthrough" in one of the most un-reached nations ofthe world, Japan
There will be two departure dates. May 27th and June10th.
