A story from Ivan

Last week in Valencia 235 students, staff, and volunteers gathered for Prueba de Fuego, Vida Estudiantil’s 2008 Congreso Nacional. The title means “tested by fire” and comes from 1 Peter 1:7. In this letter I’d like to share about this event and feature how your support is impacting many lives for Christ!

We bussed 185 students to the nearest beach with the command to preach the gospel and what resulted was altogether amazing. They swept the entire beach in just an hour and a half and witnessed over 100 people receive Jesus as their Lord and savior! Entire f a m i l i e s t r us ted the Lord for eternal life right there amidst their sandcastles and beer coolers.
